Cold Weather Payment
- The Cold Weather Payment Scheme is administered and paid by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). It is a one- off payment of £25 per week that is paid automatically to people on certain benefits or Support for Mortgage Interest. You will receive the payment for each week when the average temperature where you live is or is forecast to be zero degrees Celsius or below for at least seven days in a row.
- The Cold Weather Payment Scheme runs from 1 November 2022 to 31 March 2023.
